Enquiries and complaints

When you call, email or write to us, we receive the contact details and information you provide. We use them to answer your enquiry or investigate your complaint. If you do not provide enough information, we may be unable to respond or investigate.

Our lawful basis is legitimate interests in responding to enquiries and complaints. We use legal obligation or public task where NHS complaints handling requires it. Where health information is needed, we use it for the provision and management of healthcare under Article 9(2)(h) of the UK General Data Protection Regulation and Schedule 1 of the Data Protection Act 2018.

Pharmacy staff and service providers supporting our communications handle this information. We share it with others only where needed to investigate your complaint or where the law requires it. We do not use it for marketing or make decisions about you by automated means.

Enquiry records are deleted within 12 months of the last contact. Complaint records are kept for 10 years in line with the NHS Records Management Code of Practice.
